Running Hot Plumbing Co is a family-owned plumbing business in Adelaide, South Australia, trading as M.R & S.K Wilson Pty Ltd. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" means Running Hot Plumbing Co. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

• Details you give us when you send an enquiry, call or email us: your name, phone number, email address, suburb or address, and details about the job.
• Photos of the job that you choose to email to us.
• Information needed to complete and invoice the work, such as your address and billing details.
• General information about how people use our website, collected by Google Analytics. This includes the pages visited, the type of device and browser, the general area you are in, and how you found our website. It does not tell us who you are.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and give you a quote.
• To book, carry out and invoice the work.
• To contact you about your job, including follow-ups and warranty matters.
• To understand how our website is used, so we can improve it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not send marketing emails without your permission.

Who we share it with

We only share your information with the services we use to run the business:

• Netlify, which hosts our website and receives enquiries sent through our contact form.
• Google, which provides our email and Google Analytics.
• Our job management and accounting software, used to book jobs and send invoices.

Some of these services may store information outside Australia. We may also share information where the law requires it.

Cookies and Google Analytics

Our website uses cookies from Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The website still works if you do.

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we only keep it for as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law.
